Research selling prices of items similar to yours. Look up completed sales or current listings of items similar to yours. Find the high- and low-end prices, and price your object around the median price level. If you want your item to sell quickly, price it at the low end. The condition of the item also affects the price. Items in poorer condition should be priced at the lower end. Also, consider how many listings there already are of items similar to yours. If many similar items will be competing with yours, you may have to set the price lower to get the sale.
Once you’ve gathered a list, put together a template outreach email (as you’ll be doing this over and over) that’s short and clear with expectations. Tell your potential interviewee who you are, what your podcast is about, and what you’re asking of them. Do a few test interviews with friends and family to make sure everything is being recorded at the quality you want and then book your first episode.
Mechanical Turk is Amazon's take on micro-jobs. These are small miniscule-jobs that you can do for other people, which they call HITs, or Human Intelligence Tasks. These are super simple tasks that anyone can do. Some examples are listing off some URLs with certain kinds of images for one cent, or recording a few phrases with a microphone for 6 cents.
Build your audience on a course community: If you’re just getting started building an audience for yourself and want to leverage communities already actively looking for content you can choose to host and sell your online course on a site like Skillshare or Udemy. These are easy, cost-effective ways to build an audience and test your niche to see if there’s demand for it.
Sell stuff online. If you have high-quality items to sell, there are a slew of online marketplaces you can use. Just make sure you understand the fees associated with your sale before you take the plunge. Where neighborhood Facebook pages and Craigslist ads are free, many online marketplaces or consignment shops charge for ads or require you to fork over a percentage when you make a sale.
The prep work before you open up shop is more time-consuming. You need merchandise to sell, photos and descriptions to post, a name for your shop and a business plan to help you succeed. Once that’s done, you’ll still need to find customers. Depending on what you’re selling, that could take weeks, which is why you should expect the overall time for this gig to be slow.
Writing copy for websites is another great freelancing option for those who have a way with words. Copywriting can involve writing the text for websites, press releases, promotional offline materials including leaflets and brochures, and any other professional text for businesses. While writing blog posts is well paid it won’t make you as much money as writing copy for sales pages. However, clients can be more fussy, as they want the highest quality writing for the forefront of their website or advertising campaigns. Many freelance writers offer both copywriting and blog writing amongst their services. This can be a good way to juggle regular but lower paid clients (blogging) with the higher paid but ad-hoc project based copy work.

Everyone has thought about different ways to make money online, but most people don’t really know how. I’m fortunate enough to have figured it out. For several years now, I haven’t only earned a full-time living using nothing but the internet, but I am making more from my online venture than I’ve ever made at any other job (into the 6 figure range now). The longer I do this, the more I make. I also have no employees, I don’t sell any of my own products, I provide no customer service, and I hardly have any overhead. Plus, I make money 24/7/365 whether I’m actually working or on vacation.
Personally, I make most of my money through Amazon by writing Kindle ebooks, and so far I have been successful with it. Granted, the Kindle as a “device” does not exactly fit into making money “directly” on the Web. But again, I NEED the Web to publish my ebooks– and therefore, I make money through the internet, or with its help, at the very least.
Some of the best things in life are free and market researchers love to hand out new products in exchange for consumer feedback. If you like to try new products and have the opportunity to try them out for free, do some research and find the market research companies that offer products you desire to try. You can join campaigns and they will send the products or coupons to you to test them and provide feedback. You will generally have to fill out surveys and provide written reports based on your opinions. You will get to keep the products and they will sometimes even send you a monetary gift as an offer of thanks for doing the work.
