You can sell your ebooks through Amazon's Kindle program or Apple's iTunes Connect, which gives you access to a large majority of the digital-book reading market and the barriers for entry are incredibly low. You don't need to invest lots of money to make this happen, but you do need to invest lots of time, not only in writing the ebooks, but in marketing them as well.
If you’re serious about making money selling things online, it’s pretty much impossible to not recommend Shopify. The platform gives you everything you need to get your online store up and running in less than a day including a custom domain, beautiful templates (so you don’t need design skills), secure payment options, and they can even take care of marketing and shipping for you. Whether you’re promoting your own products, designs, or curating other products for people in your niche, Shopify is the best option for powering your online store.
Thanks for the list Eric. Many of these I have tested out and a few I still work on with regularity. There are many more places to join and get paid to write if one wants to become a full time freelance writer. A few places are Bright Hub($15 for an article), Textbroker(varies from .01 a word to .04), and The Content Authority(roughly same as textbroker). These are probably the easiest to get started with.
Lending Club (U.S. Residents Only) – I’ve been talking about this site ever since I started this blog, so there’s no reason to stop now.  Lending Club is an important part of my passive income strategy.  I discuss it in all of my income reports, so you can read those for more detail.  As I’ve said several times, I believe this is my only true source of passive income.
Note:  There are dozens of other survey sites out there. These just happen to be the more well-known ones that have a reputation for paying out in a timely manner and not having impossible standards for cashing out. As always, be careful with your personal information. I recommend using an entirely separate email address for survey sites so they don’t clutter your inbox.
18. CraigsList – Some things don’t ship very well. Other things may make you feel uncomfortable to sell to someone across the country. Anytime you’re selling a large item or something you just don’t want to ship, Craigslist is a great place to go. It’s simple to list your item (again, take good pictures!). If you don’t like the idea of putting your phone number out there, the interested individual can send you a message to your inbox without even getting your email address.
Hey!, I’m just putting some feelers out there to see if there’s anyone interested in making a pretty substantial amount of cash in a short amount of time. Only thing this requires is that you have an active bank account or credit card in the US. No cash is required up front to start. Which means your account can be on a zero balance and that’s completely fine. There are different money deals that suit just what you want, contact 44royaltom@gmail.com
No matter what method you end up using to generate an income on the web, you need to adjust your mindset to help empower you rather than discourage you. The truth? Making money online can be fraught with avoidable pitfalls. There's no shortage to the rah-rah cheers of internet marketers looking to find ways to ensure they part you from your hard-earned cash. The trick? Cancel the noise and get to the real meat and potatoes, so to speak.
Social networking and social media is a great way to share your content, gain followers, and in general, increase your presence online.  There are, however, ways to make money by sharing someone else’s content with your followers via Twitter.  I generally don’t consider this to be a great way to make money online, but it can be lucrative for those who have a big following. (Side note: I tried to see if there was a way to sell Facebook “likes” or get paid to share content on Facebook, and couldn’t find anything.)

There are many freelance options for graphic designers who are looking to make money online. Designing layouts and graphics for promotional material, corporate reports, magazines or book covers, are all tasks that businesses are looking for online freelancers to complete. Due to its flexible nature, graphic design possibilities can range from one-off projects to ongoing work with regular clients.
The need for online tutors seems to be growing every day, particularly in ESL industry. (ESL stands for English as a Second Language.) There are many apps which are looking for native English speakers to assist their students, often through simple conversation – so there are opportunities for you even if you don’t have any teaching experience. Beyond the English-teaching market, there’s also a niche for those who can help middle school students with their homework assignments and more general tutoring positions available online to assist students at all levels with their studies.
If you are a professional photographer or have a real flair for photography, then selling your images on other sites could be an idea. This could be done alongside your own photography site, as it is a good way to help get your work viewed by a wider audience. There are numerous stock image websites to contribute to, but choosing a popular high-end site like Shutterstock should ensure your photographs make you some money.
What exactly is an infopreneur? You will basically create a website, and don’t worry, you don’t have to know any computer code to do this. You will write about a topic you already know and love on your website. You don’t actually sell anything on your website. You just create as much information as you can. As you create that information, you’ll naturally start getting website visitors from search engines, social media platforms, etc. People will naturally share your awesome content. Once you start gaining all these visitors on your website, you can start selling ad space on your website. This is a great way to earn passive income without any customer service, or products, or anything like that.
When I started blogging I immediately realized how important affiliate marketing was. Many bloggers skip affiliate marketing for months when they first start their blog, because they feel like they do not have enough traffic to create any income from affiliates, or because they think that it will annoy their readers. However, affiliate marketing is one of the easiest ways to earn money online. On top of affiliate marketing be a really easy way to earn money chances are you can actually earn money and get paid pretty quickly.
Upwork: This website offers a great marketplace for selling just about any professional service. You don't need a merchant account, website of your own or anything else for that matter. All you need to do is be able to provide a high-quality service at a reasonable price. But be informed, you will have to compete with many others that are constantly bidding on open jobs.
Selling clothes you no longer wear is a quick way to make some money. Start with local consignment shops for faster cash, or use sites like ThredUp and Poshmark to find buyers. If you go the online route, be sure to take clear, well-lit photos of your pieces and research similar items to set competitive prices. Get tips on how to sell your clothing.
Slice the Pie is a site I use quite frequently. All you do is listen to music and rate/review it. You'll get paid anywhere from six to seven cents up to sometimes seventeen cents per song you review just depending on if they have any promos going on. It only takes a few minutes to review a song. They pay out on Tuesdays and Fridays and you must have a minimum of $10 to withdraw your earnings, but this is very possible to do twice per week.
This may well be one of the most impressive make money online articles/ lists Iv’e ever seen. So detailed, innovative, and so many opportunities for passive income. Two things that I thought that you missed, though. 1. What about making money by referring people to GPT/CPA sites like cashcrate? This is what I have build my business on. 2. Have you heard of flippa? There are people on there who make a living creating sites optimized to sell on there. For example, they get a wordpress themed site, pay people to write quality articles, and then build up traffic to the site. After the site has a good amount of revenue going to it, they will sell it for about 10x what they invested into it. What do you think of this idea? Also, if you have a chance, it would be great if you and anyone else interested could check out my website try it out, and offer honest feedback. Thanks and happy holidays.
Mechanical Turk is Amazon's take on micro-jobs. These are small miniscule-jobs that you can do for other people, which they call HITs, or Human Intelligence Tasks. These are super simple tasks that anyone can do. Some examples are listing off some URLs with certain kinds of images for one cent, or recording a few phrases with a microphone for 6 cents.
Eric, this list is HUGE, thank you very much! There are clearly so many ways to make money online. It’s all about choosing the method that works for you. To make some decent money — even just a dollar — one has to look at the internet in unusual ways. One cannot think of the Web as a place for entertainment, a source to use when you’re bored or some temporary time killer.

Whether you want to become your own boss, start a side hustle, or earn extra money on the side, any of the strategies listed above can help. By finding ways to increase your income, you can free up more cash to pay down debt, save for the future, or invest for retirement. Saving money is only half of the equation. And if you truly want to get ahead, you might want to figure out how to make money – and hopefully, lots of it.

With drop shipping, you’re effectively partnering with a manufacturer or wholesaler to sell their products. This way, you don’t pay upfront costs to buy inventory, aren’t sitting on unsold items taking up expensive warehouse space, and don’t have to deal with shipping the products yourself. You simply create your site, fill it with drop shippable products, and drive in customers, with almost everything else done for you.
If you don’t mind doing other people’s chores, then TaskRabbit is a great option for making money online. Earn extra income by walking your neighbor’s dog or mowing Mr. Smith’s lawn. It might seem like not the most lucrative option, but the top taskers reportedly earn as much as $7000 a month, making this a full-time way to make money online for some.
Social networking is the name of the game these days, which has led to a proliferation of interactive sites – from social media giants Facebook and Twitter to open web forums like Reddit to private forums on company and personal sites large and small. One thing these sites all have in common is that they require moderators and content specialists – people monitoring interactions, ensuring they follow the terms of service and maintain the level of etiquette required by each site. Brands hire moderators (and customer service reps) to babysit their brand image on social media, responding to complaints and making sure everyone has a positive experience – as much as possible, anyway. While some companies handle moderation in-house, there are a number of companies out there looking for moderators – and it’s something you can do part-time!
